WebOct 8, 2010 · The mail merge worked fine if I was transferring to a completely clear formatted cell (if I remember rightly). The problem was clearing the cells. In my #5 post above I discovered my problem when I added a new date field to the mail merge and checked the formatting wasn't a number.
