WebDec 23, 2010 · Blue eyes are dominant in goats but kids are either born with blue eyes or they are not. The blue eyes should look lighter from birth. I can always tell as soon as they pop out. Sometimes even with human babies newborns can have a blue tint to their eyes but not neccisarrily end up having blue eyes. WebSep 23, 2011 · 15,206 Posts. #5 · Sep 14, 2011. Email or call one of the pygmy registries and see what they say. I'm not seeing anything that says they can or cannot be blue eyed. I am almost positive blue eyes are a serious fault. I don't even know if they would conform to breed standard for registry. You'd have to ask the registry to be sure.

Blue eyed kids will be light blue when born...very easy to distinguish from brown eyed kids. That blue doesn't change.
